Cross Century II Translucent Blue/Rhodium Fountain Pen
While many people refer to the Classic Century as "those skinny Cross pens", the Century II captures the look while adding girth to the design, making this series a better fit for people who enjoy a slightly thicker pen without going up to the pricing and heft of the Townsend series.
The Cross Century II Translucent Blue Lacquer and Rhodium Trim fountain pen features a stainless steel nib (medium in stock, fine upon request) and uses Cross ink cartridges. An optional converter is available for using bottled ink. Snap cap.
Imported. Limited lifetime guarantee. MSRP $130.00
Great first fountain pen

I looked at a lot of reviews before buying this pen and this particular company had a great price. I've used the pen frequently and have had great results. I've changed out ink refills from cross twice so far (black and blue/black cross ink) without any stoppages or problems. It writes well on legal pads, resume paper, and especially on rhodia dot paper. I don't have any experience with a heavier pen, but I must say that I really enjoy writing with this one and have no intention of buying anything else for the foreseeable future. I'll be trying out the fountain ink converter soon with kon-peki ink. Aside from the price, I was also pleased by the timely delivery. I would order from this company again.
